About

Who we are

A small, transparent team doing foundational civic work in Utah.

Our mission

Strengthen self-government by strengthening civic literacy.

We believe Utahns govern best when every generation understands how their government works and how to take part in it. Our mission is to produce honest, nonpartisan evidence about civic education in Utah and to put that evidence in the hands of the people who can act on it — teachers, the State Board, and the Legislature.

We are deliberately transparent about who is behind this effort. There is no hidden sponsor. It's us, and we're glad to tell you what we're doing and why.
